How can fruit trees be grown most effectively? What methods of pest control are there? How do I pollinate blossoms correctly?
The participants of a tree nursery workshop at the Nsanjama school got answers to these questions. We supported the project, in which eight agriculture teachers from a total of four schools took part.
Sustainable plant cultivation is hugely important. Children in Malawi are meant to learn the basic techniques while still at school. For this purpose, staff from the Ministry of the Environment came to the Nsanjama school especially.
To help them hit the ground running, we are providing the teachers not only with the necessary know-how but also with the appropriate equipment and seedlings, so that they can get started right away on their own tree nurseries with their classes. So that things will soon be sprouting and thriving at the schools!

The total costs amount to approx. 200 euros.
