Pediatric Physiotherapy

In 2016, during the pre-Christmas season, we supported the newly founded pediatric physiotherapy unit of the Mulanje Mission Hospital. The aim of the project is to bring children back into “normal” life through early physiotherapy treatment. In particular, conditions such as cerebral malaria or meningitis made it necessary to establish the children’s center for physiotherapy. Before the campaign, the rooms were equipped with nothing but mats and cushions. Cerebral palsy chairs and toys to support the children’s development are examples of the necessities we were able to provide to the hospital.
