We showed full commitment to our cause at the Ansbach city run in May 2016. This time we didn’t send any plastic animals into the race on our behalf – a 15-member team took to the starting line in person for Ansbach für Malawi! In addition, many runners from the Carolinum Gymnasium took part in the run for AfM. A great effort!
Beforehand, each runner had recruited sponsors who pledged to donate a certain amount to our association for every kilometer run. In fact, all of our runners made it to the finish line and, with the kilometers they ran, raised the proud sum of over 1,100 euros for AfM! As always, one hundred percent of the donations go to our projects in Malawi: at the moment, these are repairs and new equipment at the Mulanje Mission Hospital, and school meals at several Malawian schools.
