Teachers and Equipment at Luchenza Primary School

The young man is Redson Bimon. He is a teacher at Luchenza Primary School and in the second year of his teacher training. Why is this relevant to us? Ansbach für Malawi advocated for Redson’s hiring and finances his work together with Mlango.
Teachers are often in short supply in Malawi’s schools, and many classes consist of up to 120 students. An additional teacher means considerable relief and a significant improvement in the quality of education. We are also in regular contact with Redson, which gives us an additional connection to our other projects in the region. Supporting teachers is therefore a topic we want to keep working on.

In addition, we are supporting the school with technical equipment. In an email, Redson had asked us to provide him with a laptop. We had actually planned to hand over the laptop during our project trip in December – unfortunately, as you know, it had to be canceled. Now our partners from Mlango will hand over two laptops and a smartphone when they fly to Malawi next Friday for a week.
