Trinkwasser für Nkondezi

Help for Nkondezi Primary School in Malawi: Bringing Water to 1,148 Students

In the remote Nkondezi Primary School, located in the Mulanje District of Malawi, the community faces a significant challenge: the only nearby well produces saline water. This forces the students to bring their own drinking water, as well as water for daily hygiene and cooking of school meals, from home. A laborious and unsustainable solution.

However, there is hope: just three kilometers away, there is a freshwater source. The community is willing to actively participate in solving this problem. They have committed to manually digging a trench for a water pipeline from the source to the school. What they lack are the necessary materials.

This is where you come in: With a donation of 10,000 €, we can acquire the required materials to ensure clean drinking water for all 1,148 students from grades 1 to 8. Your support can fundamentally improve the daily lives of these children, allowing them to focus on what truly matters: their education.

Every donation counts – help us make this life-changing difference!
